One Day Block Printing on Fabric Workshop

Morning session:

 

• After a short intruoduction we will look at simple ways to transfer an image onto a small mounted lino block (8cmx8cm). Simple designs can be used as a stand alone image or printed in such a way as to create interesting repeat patterns. 

• For the rest of the morning we will transfer our image onto the block and then cut it into the lino using lino gauges. 

 

30 minute lunch break approx 12.30 - 1pm. 

 

Afternoon session. 

 

• After lunch we will ink up our blocks and print them onto a tote bag and a tea towel. 

• All materials are provided for this workshop including bags and tea towels.
